V4@Theatre Critics Residency 2020
Unfortunately, the V4@Theatre Critics Residency project has been affected by the ongoing COVID–19 crisis. During preparations for the 2020 edition, we have first reduced the number of partnered countries from Central and Eastern Europe. Rising infections and anti-epidemic measures have forced us to re-evaluate the situation, and we have decided to organise the sixth project edition online. Under the guidance of German theatre scholar Stefan Tigges, registered participants took part in analytical seminars, discussions on selected productions from the main programme of the International Theatre Festival Divadelná Nitra 2020 and socio-political questions, as well as a meeting with the main programme curators and participants from other projects organised by Association Divadelná Nitra. Croatian theatre scholar Darko Lukić complemented the programme with a lecture and expert advice. The workshop took place in parallel with ITF Divadelná Nitra.
