This Is Art,Too: Oskar Singer – from Villa K to the Workers’ Culture House

The event Oskar Singer – from Villa K to the Workers’ Culture House is part of the accompanying programme of the 2024 Divadelná Nitra.

This year, culture theorist Juraj Novák, art historian Richard E. Pročka and Peter Papp prepared an evening guided walk entitled Oskar Singer – from Villa K to the Workers’ Culture House. He will present the works of the major Nitra architect of the interwar period. The walk culminates with a unique video projection of the Mihály Biró extinct painting at the building of the Workers’ Culture House. The event is part of the project This Is Art, Too ran by the Association Divadelná Nitra. The project highlights forgotten works of visual art and architecture in the public space of the city of Nitra.
