Songwriter Havrilla with band

Dušan Havrilla, musician and lyricist, fits comfortably into a cozy café as a folk singer with a guitar. After two years of living in Cork (Ireland), he resonated with his debut album Citadela (2022). EP Tenzie (2023, Slnko Records), which was created with drums: Matej Borovský (percussions), Radoslav Lakoštík (guitar) and Roman Stražanec (cello and bass guitar) is most illustrative of the musicality of the group.

Dušan Havrilla is a musician and lyricist. Currently a folk singer, with his guitar, he may just as well fit comfortably in a cozy café. After two years of living in Cork (Ireland), he resonated with his debut album Citadela (2022). The minimalistic sound of the songs with soft electronics complements the crackling of the fire, the noise of the cottage and its surroundings. The album was produced by the pianist Daniel Špiner.

Havrilla prefers to perform in a band, with widespread folk-rock sounds. EP Tenzie (2023, Slnko Records), which was created with drums: Matej Borovský (percussions), Radoslav Lakoštík (guitar) and Roman Stražanec (cello and bass guitar) is most illustrative of the musicality of the group. Together with Beyond Music Studio and lyricist Silvia Kaščáková, they made the EP, which will grow into an LP album early in 2025.

Playing in clubs and cafes finally resulted in the CATHEDRAL TOUR, i.e. chamber concerts performed in a lineup of two musicians in different variations (vocals / guitar / cello / percussions). Songs with stories fill a sacred space open to all. The acoustics, atmosphere and story of each church, together with the concert programme, bring a unique experience, allowing us to halt, offering space for rest, gloom and hope.
