Can I be a festival volunteer if I’m younger than 18?

Yes, you can. You need to be at least 15 years old. However, we will need permission from your legal guardian agreeing to your activities at the festival. Please find the form below and bring it to our first meeting.

 

I can’t be there for the whole festival. Can I still come?

Yes, you can. We’ll appreciate any help. You don’t need to be available 24/7 during the whole festival and preparations. Your work schedule will depend on your choice of field. You will choose your field of activity during the first days of festival preparations.

 

I’m not from Nitra, but I would like to come. Can I?

Yes, you can. However, we are unable to provide accommodation.

 

Will the festival provide refreshments (food and drink)?

The festival provides its volunteers with drinks, one warm meal per day and day-long cold refreshments appropriate to the volunteer’s activities during the festival.

 

When do volunteers have to arrive at the festival?

The first volunteers’ meeting, a teambuilding session, usually takes place 1 – 2 days before volunteer work begins and serves for everyone to get to know each other. The next day, we hold a volunteers’ seminar covering the fields in which you may choose to work, safety training, and introduction of the festival staff.
